We’ve already spelled out the numerous barriers to designing, let alone implementing, a robust onboarding program (TLDR: rigorous planning and a heavy investment of resources and time). While HR professionals want to have a solid system in place to ensure successful assimilation, getting each new hire (who inevitably starts at varying times) up to speed and launched with purpose leaves HR in an endless loop of onboarding.
